GATE VALVE

1. The gate has two sealing surfaces, and the most commonly used one is that the two sealing surfaces of the gate form a wedge shape. The wedge angle varies with the valve parameters, usually 5 °.
2. The sealing principle of wedge gate valve is achieved by the tight combination of the two sealing surfaces on the wedge gate and the two sealing surfaces on the valve body when wedged in.
3. Wedge gate valves can be divided into rising stem gate valves (lift stem gate valves) and hidden stem gate valves (rotary stem gate valves) based on the different ways in which the valve stem drives the gate to open and close.
4. Wedge gate valves can be divided into elastic gate valves and rigid gate valves according to the different forms of gate structures.
5. The valve body is cast, and the valve body and valve cover are connected by bolts. The middle flange is sealed with a wrapped gasket. If the customer has special requirements, a metal ring connection can also be used.
